Puppy Programs

Bringing home a new puppy is a very exciting time! But we also understand the feelings of apprehension and nerves. You have added a new member to your family and want to make sure that you do right by them to help them live their happiest life. Not only do puppies require a lot of time and attention but it can be hard to know exactly what they need. Puppies are not the same as human babies, they need more than just love and attention. From the moment you bring your new family member home they are learning! They learn rules, boundaries, and expectations that can follow with them the rest of their lives. Making sure that they are soaking up the right information helps to set you up for success for the rest of their adult lives.

Things to Remember
When Getting a Puppy

  • There are so many things in the puppy raising process that effect how your puppy will grow and develop into an adult.

  • Puppies are like sponges from the moment they open their eyes. They are learning from every interaction and experience they have not only with you but with the world around them.

  • Proper socialization plays a huge part of how your new puppy will interact with the world as they continue to grow and develop

    • Proper socialization is something that is often misunderstood and will be discussed in great detail throughout any of our puppy programs.

What is unique about our puppy programs?

A large focus of any of our puppy programs is based on play and engagement. Play is a fundamental part of building a bond and relationship with your new puppy that can often be overlooked! We will also show you new play techniques that not only work on the bond between dog and owner but put a large focus on building your puppy's confidence.

Incorporating play and engagement is an integral part of creating positive experiences throughout the learning process for your puppy.

Adding play into your puppies training instead of just using treats and focusing on obedience keeps training exciting and interesting for both puppy and owner. Adding the extra energy and excitement can also help you keep your puppy's attention more focused on the task at hand.
