AKC Classes and Tests

Multiple AKC classes and testing available. These classes and testing allow you to dip your toe in the dog competition world as well start new and exciting hobbies with your dog! Getting involved in dog sports or training to achieve a title is one of the best ways to become more involved with your dog. There are so many different canine sports and events to explore! You are sure to find a sport that is a good fit for both you and your dog.

Feeling overwhelmed and not sure what is a good fit for you and your dog? Starting with some of the smaller AKC titles, CGC and alike tests, and starting the journey of training towards achieving those titles is a great place to start!

Preparation Lessons

This set of private lessons is to help both you and your dog prepare to take the Canine Good Citizens (CGC) Test. We will help you go over and prepare the 10 necessary skills that will be tested. Please set up a consultation to pinpoint where in training your dog is to determine the amount of private lessons they may need to succeed in the test.

Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test

The Canine Good Citizens Test is open to all breeds and ages of dogs. You will be tested on 10 skills that help to teach your dog good manners and help you be a responsible and caring pet owner not only for you but for others around you. This test can help open up new opportunities for you and your dog. Some homeowners insurance companies will offer discounts to those with dogs that have passed the CGC test. For those looking for apartments especially in larger cities the number of renters requiring tenants dogs to pass the CTC test is rapidly increasing.

$40 per dog for group testing

S.T.A.R. Puppy Test

The S.T.A.R. Puppy Test is the perfect choice for you and your puppy if you feel you are not yet ready to take the CGC Test. This is meant to help you start your life with your puppy off on the right foot and help to prepare you for your future CGC Test.

$45 per dog for multi dog family testing

$40 per dog for group testing

Community Canine Test

The Community Canine Test is an advanced level of the CGC Test. Like the CGC the Community Canine Test also includes 10 testing items that must be passed. The Community Canine testing will be held in a public setting such as a park, dog friendly event, or dog friendly stores.

$53 per dog for multi dog family testing

AKC Temperament Test

Each breed and individual dog comes with their own individual temperament. This testing is to help evaluate and bring attention to your dog's temperament. Evaluation is done of how your dog reacts to variety of stimuli. There are many different types of stimuli surrounding you in the world. This AKC test will evaluate your dog on 6 different types of stimuli. Trick Dog Testing

Trick Dog titling is a fun and interactive testing you can do with your dogs. There are 5 different levels of testing available. If you are looking to further your bond with your dog and have tricks to show off to your friends and family titling in trick dog is for you!
