Bringing home a new puppy is an exciting and joyful milestone, but it can also feel overwhelming and bring “Am I doing this right?” moments as you navigate how to meet your pup’s unique needs.
Puppy training isn't about teaching tricks—it's about building foundations that shape your dog's entire life. Puppyhood is the foundation for everything that follows, shaping how your dog sees the world and how they grow into adulthood. It can be hard to remember that puppies aren't little baby humans. They're a different species with their own distinct behaviors and instincts, and from the moment they open their eyes, they're little sponges—always learning, always watching, soaking up information from every interaction and experience.
The first six months with your puppy is a critical window when their brain is wired to learn, and every interaction has a lasting impact on their development and behavior. They either build confidence and healthy habits or create patterns you'll spend years trying to undo. That’s why our puppy programs go beyond basic obedience to focus on what actually matters in early development; thoughtful socialization, engagement, confidence building through play, cooperative care, impulse control, and calm responses to the world around them to help you build a connected companion from the start. We place a big emphasis on play as a training tool, because play builds trust, creates focus, and makes learning fun while boosting your puppy’s confidence.
How you raise your puppy dictates how they mature into an adult dog—start them off on the right path. Whether you’re a first-time owner or adding to the pack, we’ll give you the roadmap and hands-on guidance to guide you through these critical early months so your puppy grows into a happy, well-mannered dog that’s easy to live with for years to come.

Our puppy programs are for puppies ages 8 weeks up to 22 weeks of age.
Puppy Private Lessons​​
Puppy Private Lessons are the most hands-on option we offer—built for owners who want direct coaching and real-time feedback as they raise their puppy. You're in the driver's seat learning the "how" and "why" behind everything—from reading your puppy's body language to building engagement through play and navigating those "am I doing this right?" moments.
These one-on-one sessions take the guesswork out of puppyhood and focus on the skills that matter most in the first critical months: engagement and focus, house manners, leash foundations, impulse control, cooperative care/handling, and proper socialization that builds confidence and neutrality (instead of creating an overexcited “must greet everyone” puppy). Between weekly sessions, you'll practice with a clear homework plan and have direct access to your trainer for support. The majority of progress happens through what you reinforce day-to-day, which means you're building the relationship and skills from the ground up together.

Puppy Board & Train Programs

The first few months of your puppy's life are a window you only get once—and how that time is spent shapes everything that follows. Puppy Board & Train is a high-structure, high-support program for owners who want their puppy learning the right habits from day one—consistently, professionally, and in real life. We treat each puppy like part of our family, weaving practical training into real life so they return home happy, balanced, and eager to learn.
Because puppies require more hands-on care than older dogs, this program is more immersive than our standard Board & Train. Puppies stay in our home (not in the Dog House) so we can manage potty training throughout the day and overnight, keep routines consistent, and build healthy habits around the clock—providing a nurturing, structured environment from the moment they wake up to the moment they go to sleep.
This program includes the basic obedience foundations your puppy needs—but it goes far beyond commands, focusing on what actually matters in early development:

And because the goal isn’t just progress here but success at home, Puppy Board & Train includes additional follow-up lessons to make sure you know exactly how to maintain what your puppy learned and keep the momentum going. Our puppy program is more in-depth than our standard board and train—reflecting the time and dedication young puppies truly need to thrive.

Puppy Day Trains​​
While we don’t have a separate Day Train program just for puppies, our regular Day Train is a great fit for young pups too! It’s a fantastic way to make the most of that early learning window.
We tailor each day of training to your puppy’s age, attention span, and learning level so they can build the same key foundations we focus on in our puppy programs—confidence, engagement, manners, obedience foundations, impulse control, appropriate socialization/exposure, and cooperative care—within a fun, positive environment.

Puppy Raising Program
​​
Bringing home a new puppy is one of life's greatest joys—but those first weeks can also feel like a crash course with no instruction manual. The Puppy Raising Program takes the guesswork out of early puppyhood by giving your pup the best possible start while you prepare for life together.
Designed for puppies 12 weeks old or younger, this 8–16 week program is our most immersive offering—and for good reason. The early months are a window you only get once. During this critical developmental period, your puppy's brain is primed to absorb everything: how to navigate the world, how to relate to people and other animals, and what kind of dog they'll grow into. We take that responsibility seriously.
Your puppy lives in our home throughout the program, becoming part of our daily life and routine. This hands-on environment means they're not just learning commands—they're building the confidence, manners, and emotional stability that make a dog genuinely easy to live with. They'll be properly socialized to a wide variety of people, animals (dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens), environments, sights, and sounds—all under professional supervision, so every experience builds the right foundation.​
